Vickie Escalante is the founder of Before the Pages. I recently have completed proofreading a short romance collection entitled "A New Year's Kiss" by nine talented authors and am excited to continue providing that service to my clients. I have also completed the PA Training Course by Luna Bloom.

It is my goal to provide authors support by handling everyday tasks they face. My experience as a legal assistant for over twenty years, where I worked with attorneys, judges, clerks, clients, and the Sheriff's Department daily, will be used while working for my clients to make their projects seamless and freeing them to focus on their writing. From newsletters, social media, and graphic creation, to proofreading and larger projects, I will be here to support you and help you do what you were meant to do: write!

If I'm not reading or writing or searching for a Diet Coke or Iced Tea, you'll find me hanging out with my family and friends. I'm a No. IL girl transplanted from Kansas (via several other States) who will always enjoy the winter months to summer ones! My hobbies (besides reading, of course) are: baking, crafting paper crafts, cuddling with our three kitties, and making wreaths.

 

I've become a bit of a homebody, so you'll likely only find me out to eat with the family, shopping at Target, Michaels, or Hobby Lobby, or at church. Even then you'll probably have to stop and initiate contact because I'm always daydreaming about my next story or project, and I tend to tune things out. :)
